Coupon Network has added an offer for $20 in future savings when you spend $100 in participating gift cards purchase at Jewel.

We’ve taken advantage of this in the past and bought gift cards for places such as AMC, JCPenney and Lowe’s. The great thing about gift cards is that you can use coupons with them for even more savings. We were able to save on clothes, home improvement items and trips to the theater.

Check your store (or sales ad) for details and to see if they are participating. You might be able to purchase gift cards that you can turn around and use on birthday/holiday gifts.

Coupon Network has added a $5 in Future Savings with $30 iTunes Gift Cards Purchase deal. It’s valid at these stores:

Acme Fresh Market, Acme Market, Albertsons Osco, Albertsons Sav On, Albertsons Store, Cub Foods, Farm Fresh Supermarket, Giant Eagle Express, Giant Eagle Market, Giant Eagle Market District, Henrys Acme, Jewel Food Store, Jewel Osco, Lucky, Lucky Store, Shaws Supermarket, Shaws Super Store, Shop N Save, Shoppers Food Warehouse, Star Market, The Market

Just add the deal to your store loyalty card for the future savings deal. There’s also a deal for Applebees and Bass Pro Shop Gift Cards but they are limited to just a few stores.

Just thought I’d share as a way to get a little savings on these if they are on your holiday lists. It looks like they are 3 – $10 Gift Cards that you might be able to split up into multiple gifts–perhaps for teachers, baby-sitters, etc.

If you have a Jewel by you, here’s a deal they are running through 9/28/11. You’ll need to look for the display in the store for the free product coupons or your ask their Customer Service desk if you don’t see them. I saw this displayed at ours last night:

Bridesmaids DVD for $16.95 or BluRay for $22.95. Grab coupons on the display for Free Hershey’s Kisses, Free Kleenex Cool Touch Tissues and Free Suave Naturals Body Wash. You’ll get all of those things and the DVD for $11.95 after coupon or $17.95 for BluRay.

When I was out shopping yesterday, I noticed that Jewel had Nutella on sale for $2.99 and Target had it on price-cut for $3. There was a $1 Off Nutella Coupon in the 3/27/11 Red Plum Insert that will get you a 13 oz jar for $2.

So many of you have mentioned how much you liked this so I decided to buy one and try it. Two thumbs up! Thanks for the recommendation, you guys! Don’t forget to save your proof of purchases for their Nutella Boutique Shop.

On our way home from an outing last night, I had my hubby stop at Jewel so we could take advantage of the Spend $100 in Gift Cards, Get $20 on your next purchase coupon that I told you about. The deal excludes Jewel and AMEX/Mastercard/Visa Cards, but there are so many retail stores and restaurants to choose from that it was almost hard to decide which ones to pick. We ended up with:

$25 to Best Buy – We’ll use this next time we run out of printer ink!
$25 to Dunkin Donuts – My hubby has a coffee there every so often on his way to work. Great way to save on this luxury.
$25 to Home Depot – We’ll use this on our garden supplies we need coming up
$25 to Chili’s – They have a Kids Eat Free night on Tuesdays so this should get us a great family outing

I often pick up our groceries at Jewel as they have a decent selection of Organic foods so this will be like a 20% savings on these stores. And since they are gift cards, I can always use a store coupon with any of them to save even more when I shop/eat there.

I believe this deal ends today, 6/16/11 but check with your local Jewel to verify. Now I need to check out the upcoming Jewel deals….

Dominick’s and Jewel are both running a deal on Gift Cards this week:

Dominick’s: Spend $50 in Gift Cards and get a save $10 on your next grocery purchase coupon. Looks like the gift cards include iTunes, JCPenney, Lowe’s, Kohl’s and Nike. (Through 6/22/11.)

Jewel: Spend $100 in Gift Cards and get a save $20 on your next grocery purchase coupon. You’ll have to check your store for qualifying gift cards but it looks like the exclusions include Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Jewel gift cards. They show images of Kmart, JCPenney, Sears, iTunes, Applebees and Lowe’s. (Through 6/19/11)

Thought I’d share in case you were still looking for a Father’s Day gift–either the gift card itself or using the gift card to buy a gift–and then you’ll earn “free” money to use on your groceries.

Check store for requirements/exclusions. Also, Safeway and Albertson’s have similar sales to these stores so if you have one by you, check your ads to see if they are also offering these deals.

I noticed a lot of red BOGO tags in the deli/cheese area of Jewel yesterday. I came across what I thought was a pretty good deal. The Athenos Hummus was on a BOGO sale at $3.99 AND the packages at my store had coupons on them for a Free Athenos Greek Yogurt with Hummus Purchase.

If your store has these peelies, you should be able to get 2 Athenos Hummus and 2 Athenos Greek Yogurts for $3.99.

Thought I’d share in case you wanted to check for the deal at your store, too. Sometimes Albertson’s has similar deals as Jewel, but not always. Prices, sales and inventory can vary by store location.

Jewel has a 4-Day Sale this week on Kellogg’s Cereal that goes through Wednesday, July 28, 2010. When you buy 4 boxes of participating Kellogg’s Cereal (or Quaker Cereals) you’ll get them for just $1.75.

Well, RedPlum just released some $1/2 Kellogg’s Cereal Printable Coupons that can sweeten that price down to just $1.25 when you use two $1/2 coupons and buy 4 boxes.

Just thought I’d share in case you were running low and needing more to stockpile.

We picked up a box of Fruit Loops this week and I noticed this promotion on the back. Select Kellogg’s Cereal Boxes have codes inside them that you can turn in for prizes. Collect just 3 codes and you’ll get $5 Concession Cash for participating theaters. I know several of you received those Free Toy Story 3 Movie tickets from buying the Toy Story and Toy Story 2 BluRays. I thought this might be a way for you to get some concession money to go with it. (If not, you can collect 6 codes for a free movie ticket or get one of the other prizes.)

You can see all the details on the Kellogg’s Toy Story 3 Program and you can see which items to look for that might have the codes in them. Just be sure you buy the right boxes that contain the codes.

In trying to wrap up my Freezer Cooking February Series and finish my Freezer Cooking Session, I wasn’t able to type up the Jewel Deals for this week. I’m so sorry about that. BUT, Couponing For 4 has Jewel Weekly Deals plus check out her picture of her latest Jewel trip!

Also, definitely don’t miss out on the *HOT* GM Catalina Deal going on. (Spend $20 in qualifying items, Get $7 Back.) I didn’t even get to  look at my paper this week but noticed the call-out for it when I was picking up Taco Shells and Refried Beans. I quickly jumped on the deal and got the $7 back by adding just a few more taco shells to my cart. I went with the Old El Paso Stand n Stuff Taco Shells, Old El Paso Flour Tortillas and Old El Paso Refried Beans. Each were on sale for $1.25. If you bought 16 of a variety of these, you’d end up spending $20 and getting back $7, making them only about $.81 each. That could make for some cheap tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc! (Normal price in our area for the shells was $2.39 each.)

Jewel is advertising a Free 2 Liter of a Diet Dr. Pepper product on Saturday, February 20th.

Our ad states, “No Purchase Required. Limit one per Customer with in-store coupon and preferred card. While Supplies Last.”

So mark your calendar to stop over and grab your freebie. I’ll remind you again on Saturday.

Here’s what the coupon booklets look like. The “A Season of Fresh Seafood” was found on the seafood counter. It has coupons for:

I also found the Morningstar Farms coupons by a little cooler area in the dairy section. There were 4-$.75 off various Morningstar Farms products coupons.

I also found “blinkies” for $1 Off Kraft Deli Deluxe Cheese, $1 Off LaChoy Creations and $1/2 Chi-Chis Salsa jars or Snackers cups by each of those products. (Now, I only went down one “main aisle” so there are probably a ton of other “blinkies” there. And yes, please share any you have seen lately at your stores.)

All of these coupons are manufacturer’s coupons that can be used anywhere. They were not Jewel store coupons. So even if this isn’t your normal store that you shop at, you may want to stop by and pick up an item or two and see if your store has these coupons, as well.

Can I just say how glad I am to have a good camera on my cell phone now so I can snap these pictures. I’d never have gotten these displays otherwise. And I can discreetly snap a photo with my phone without looking like a Coupon Geek! haha   (I do that with my handfuls of coupons at the check-out.)
