Well, this is the last week I am giving away up to $20 to spend on children’s books on Amazon to two of my lucky readers. I’ve been doing this every week from June-August as a way to encourage everyone to spend time each week reading with a child and sharing the love of books with them. Giveaway: Diary of a Wimpy Kid DVD

I’ve seen a few of you mention that you were reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid to your kids. So when I was asked if I wanted to preview this DVD, I had to check it out.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this movie actually had quite a bit of humor to it. My hubby and I found ourselves laughing out loud at a few parts. Basically the movie is about a boy named Greg that’s starting Middle School and is on a quest to become a Favorite in the Yearbook at the end of the year. He gets into some predicaments on his journey with his friend Rowley. I haven’t read any of the books so I can’t compare if the movie is close to their storyline but I did find it to be a cute movie to watch.

Giveaway: YoBaby Yogurt Coupons for Free Product

I’ve blogged before about how much I love YoBaby Yogurt. It was one of the things that I made sure to offer my kids when they were old enough because it was so important to me that they had a chance to acquire a taste for yogurt. I often use yogurt as snacks and even side dishes at meal times for us.

Well, Stonyfield is switching their YoBaby Yogurt line to include 4-packs, instead of 6 packs. Now I’ve always loved Stonyfield as a company and I’m so glad to hear that even though they are cutting back on the number in the packs, that the price is not staying the same. It will average out to about the same price per cup in the end. What I like about this is that it means I can mix and match more and not have to worry about whether we’ll eat them by the expiration date.
