CVS: Stayfree Moneymaker in March

There’s a deal going on in March at CVS for Stayfree Pads that will turn into a little money-maker if you have the right coupons.
Stayfree Pads 14-24ct. for $3.89 each. You’ll earn $4 ECBs when you buy 2. (Limit 2.)
*Buy 2, Use $1 Stayfree Pads Printable Coupon IE (FF)
*Stack with BOGO Stayfree Pads Coupon from 1/3RP
FINAL PRICE = $2.89 out-of-pocket and you’ll earn $4 in ECBs to use on your next purchase.
Thanks, Deal Seeking Mom!
Note: If you don’t have the BOGO coupons from the 1/3 RP, you could use 2 of the $1 Stayfree Pads Printable Coupons and pay $5.78 and still earn $4–in the end only costing $1.78 for 2 packs, which is still a fabulous price. Also, keep in mind that prices/sales can vary by region.
Not your brand? If you have all the coupons, still consider buying them and donate them to The Salvation Army or woman’s shelter. Even with tax, it shouldn’t cost you anything and you get the joy of giving back to those in need.
UPDATE: I tried this myself today to donate. I didn’t get the $4 ECBs. I’m hearing it might just be on the regular 24ct ones. But just a warning, try this only with the knowledge that your ECBs might not print.

Craft Store Printables and Some Deal Ideas
Coupon Gal has several Craft Store Printable Coupons right now—Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, JoAnn’s. They are all valid through March 6th.
I printed off the one for Michael’s before I left on our shopping trip this afternoon. I saw a plethora of cute items there and I only wished I could have used several of the 50% Off Any One Regular Priced Item Coupons.
I took some pictures with my iPhone that I wanted to share just in case you think you have to be “crafty” to shop there. (Honestly, I can sew myself into a button and superglue myself to anything–I’m not one bit crafty and yet I love Michael’s store!!)

As soon as I saw these, I knew it was what I was going to use my coupon on. They are $5.99 and I plan on filling mine with a Jar Recipe or maybe some homemade cookies and sending it to my Mom for her Easter gift.
We made one of these birdhouses for my FIL last year for Christmas and he loved it. They are around $3.99 on sale right now for the unpainted wooden ones. So you can’t use the coupon on them. But you can use the coupon on paint and accessories for them. (I lined up some painted ones for you to see what they did with some of the wooden ones. Aren’t they cute? Note: those are a lot more than $3.99 if they even sell them. Some stores keep them as displays.)
They had some cute little wooden puzzles for $1. Our said “as advertised” by it but it’s their everyday price now. If you wanted to paint them, you could use the coupon on that instead.

They had lots of Easter baking needs that weren’t marked down yet. They may go on sale soon (for less than 50% off) So if you need some frosting or sprinkles, grab them soon!

Ours had this cute little bunny cake pan for $9.99. Making it about $5 after coupon.
These were just some of the things that I found. They also had coloring books and activities for kids and such. I hope that you are also able to find some of these cute deals at your store. They often have a 40% or 50% Off coupon in the Sunday Paper or online. So keep an eye out for them. You can make some super cute gifts for budget friendly prices.
(and if you think you get strange looks using coupons—-you get even weirder ones when you are taking pictures of things in the store.

Current Fitness Clubs Discounts and Deals
For those of you that are debating joining a health/fitness clubs, there are some new offers out there right now for some of them.
NOTE: The Curves one has ended so I’m removing the banner ad. Sorry if you missed it!
Through the banner above, Curves is offering one week for free. Now, I actually used to go to Curves and loved it. I’m a little self-conscious about working out and I loved that it was an all-women center. I had fun chatting with the other members and found that the time there passed quickly and I started to look forward to those workout days more.
Through the banner above, Bally’s is offering a 7-day Member Pass–and also, 20 Free Songs if you join.
If you happen to have a Cardinal Fitness by you, they’ve reduced their joining fee to $1 right now. (Note: There’s also a one-time $20 processing fee, according to the site.) Plus they are offering a Free Cardinal Fitness 1-Day Guest Pass Printable Coupon.
Note: For all of these clubs, make sure you get all the details on fees before you sign-up. Don’t forget to read all that fine-print details about canceling, yearly fees, etc., etc.
My hubby actually joined a health club last month. We had been trying and trying to work in some exercise time for him in the evenings but it just wasn’t working out here at home. It’s so much easier for him to go before/after work or on the weekends and get in a few good workouts. When we debated the fees, we looked at it as an investment in his long-term health and being around for years and years to come for the kids! (That, to me, is priceless!!)
