Amazon Deal of the Day: Mrs. Mays Bars on Discount

Amazon’s Deal of the Day for 4/12/10 are Mrs Mays Bars

Now I have no idea what these normally sell in stores for but some of the choices after the Subscribe & Save will make the bars for $.50 or less each.

I think I may try the Mrs. May’s Strawberry Trio Bar, 1.2 Ounce Boxes (Pack of 24) as it says the ingredients are Cashew, Almonds, Pistachios, Strawberries, Sesame and Sunflower Seeds. I could use some more snacks that are more natural than processed! They are $12.33 with the Subscribe and Save option–about $.51 a bar, shipped.

There’s also a Mrs. May’s Trio Bar Variety Pack, 1.2 Ounce Bars (Pack of 20) for $10.20 through Subscribe & Save. This one has 5 of each – Strawberry, Blueberry, Cranberry and Tropical Bars –also about $.51 a bar, shipped, as there are only 20 bars.

Shipping is FREE with Amazon Prime, with $25 in Qualifying Items or through the Subscribe & Save option. Keep in mind you can cancel your subscriptions under Your Account/Manage Subscribe & Save Items.

Don’t forget to use any Amazon giftcards that you’ve earned through SwagBucks!

Oh and remember those Organic Lollipops I told you about? I just got mine yesterday and they are fabulous! I let the kids have one each as a special treat and they loved them. There’s also a 5-Pound Bag that you can get for $16.33 through Subscribe & Save, in case you needed more to share with others. (Thanks for sharing that tip, Vicki!) I’m hoping they have a deal on these around Halloween because I’d love to pass out some organic candy this year.

150 Ct. Yummy Earth Organic Lollipops for $11.01 Shipped

So I keep hearing my friends say how their kids just love the YummyEarth Organic Lollipops so I’ve decided that I’m going to give it a whirl and try these while they are on sale for 50% Off on Amazon.

They are currently priced at $12.95. You can get them shipped free with Amazon Prime or with $25 in Qualifying Items.

BUT if you choose the Subscribe and Save option, you’ll get an additional 15% off, making them $11.01 shipped. You can cancel the subscription right after under Your Account, Manage Subscribe and Save Items.

Thanks for the sale price heads-up, Super Jenn!

I am going to put a few of these in their Easter Baskets. They both love suckers and it’s a rarity that I give them some. So these should last us for awhile. And I’d much rather give them something organic than not.

Don’t forget to use any Amazon giftcards that you’ve earned through SwagBucks if you order them.

Amazon Prime: Free 1 Month Trial Membership

For those of you that are loving some of these Amazon deals that I’ve been sharing but don’t have Amazon Prime to cash in on the shipping savings, I’m happy to tell you that you can get a 1-Month Free Trial Membership to Amazon Prime again.

You can read all the details on Amazon Prime.

If you are worried about forgetting to cancel your membership before they charge, follow these steps before the trial runs out–I recommend doing it right after you sign-up: (Note: This is for new Customers only. If you’ve signed-up for the trial before, you cannot sign-up again.)

1) After you sign-up, go under Your Account (You’ll see it at the top right of the screen.)
2) Click on Manage Prime Membership.
3) Click on the “Do Not Renew” button.

I order so much, especially with those Amazon giftcards that I earn through SwagBucks, that I have a yearly membership. I find that through their savings and my gas savings from less shopping trips beyond pays for the membership very quickly.

So if you are interested in scooping up some free shipping for a month, check out the Amazon Prime Trial Offer

Thanks to Hilary for mentioning on my Coupon Geek Facebook Fan Page that this was available again.

The Thrifty Mommy has a posting on how you can get a 12-issue Shape Magazine Subscription for only $2.50 through Tanga.

Limited quantities so I hope you grab one if you are interested. I’ve never read this one but it appears to be one about getting and staying in shape. Perfect for my Marching Into Fitness month, isn’t it? :)

Thanks, The Thrifty Mommy!

Please Note: It looks like some of their covers have women in bikinis. Just a warning as I know some of you do not like those in your mailbox. But it is a woman’s fitness magazine.

Taste of Home Cookbooks: $5 Sale Ends Soon!

Christy and I were just talking about the $5 Taste of Home Books that we ordered/received. I was so happy with mine that I had ordered for gift baskets, that I just went and grabbed two for myself. (I missed that they had a Cupcakes one the first time around!)

Anyway, Christy told me that she thought the sale ends tomorrow, March 5th and I just tested the free shipping code 347 and it’s still working. So if you spend $10 or more, you’ll still get the free shipping!

So if you missed my posting the first time, you can still grab the deal at Taste of Home.

If you are a ShopAtHome member, don’t forget to go through them, first! You’ll get 10% added to your account. Not a member? You can sign-up for FREE and start earning money for your online purchases. Just search for Shop Taste of Home to grab that extra 10%.

UPDATE: Sara reminded me of this–these books are really nice hardcover books. I didn’t realize that when I ordered them, either, and it was a nice surprise when they arrived.

Graveyard Mall: 10 Pairs of Women’s Sunglasses for $9.99 plus Shipping

Graveyard Mall’s Daily Deal today is that hot sunglasses deal again! 10 Pairs of Women’s Sunglasses for $9.99 plus $5.99 Shipping.

Thanks for sharing, She Saved!

And if you ever wondered if the deal shows up, mine did and here’s a picture of them:

They were all very nice but one of them is actually a favorite and will probably be the ones you see me pictured in any summer pictures I share. I’m having a hard time deciding which ones I’ll give to my sisters. :)

Please Note: The Mudd brand is a Juniors line found at Sears so these might tend to run small if you are not used to that size. Also, most of the pairs have designs and “bling” on them. I just wanted to warn you all in case that wasn’t your style. I’d hate for anyone to be disappointed when they arrived.

Dr Seuss: Discounts for 106th Birthday Celebration

In celebration of Dr. Seuss’s 106th Birthday, there are few discounts available right now.

For those of you with an iTouch or iPhone, there are 6 applications that are marked down to $.99. (Just search for “Dr Seuss” under the App Store.) The deal was supposed to be over but they’ve extended it “due to overwhelming demand.” There’s no cut off date but I wouldn’t wait if you want them.

Thanks for sharing, Lost In Pizzaland!

Also, Wal-Mart.com has several of the Dr. Seuss books marked down to $2.65 with Free Shipping to Home!

Thanks, She Saved!

And while this last one isn’t a birthday celebration discount, I wanted to remind you all about my posting on Dr. Seuss books and stuffed animals being part of the Kohl’s Cares for Kids right now.

Animal Crossing City Folk for Wii for $19.99 on Amazon

Amazon currently has Animal Crossing: City Folk marked down from $49.99 to $19.99 right now.

Thanks, Coupon Gal!

All of my nephews are big into their Wii game systems. So when I see deals like this, I grab them up for their birthdays. It helps me stay within my budget but still get them those expensive video games that they love. Amazon has been the best place for me to find these deals.
