Chicagoland Readers: Groupon for Timeless Spa & Salt Cave in Naperville

One of the Groupons listed under Chicago today is for a 45 minute Salt Cave Session at Timeless Spa & Salt Cave in Naperville, IL for $10.

My friends and I bought this last time it was available just as something different to do. Very relaxing! When it was over, I poured myself some water from their cooler and the cup slid right out of my hand as I was so relaxed I thought I was gripping it and wasn’t. They said it happens a lot and that’s why the trash can was underneath the cooler spout. LOL.

Just thought I’d share in case you lived within driving distance of Naperville and looking for something different to try.

Chicago Area Readers: Macy’s Museum Adventure Pass Program

If you live within the Chicago Area, check to see if your library is included in Macy’s Museum Adventure Pass Program.

The progam “provides free admission to 17 unique cultural destinations throughout the Chicago area to library card holders at over 140 suburban public libraries. This special opportunity is made possible by a generous contribution from Macy’s, the participating cultural organizations, and the DuPage, Metropolitan, and North Suburban Library Systems.”

I did see Brookfield Zoo and Morton Arboretum on the list as places that offer free or discounted rates. Thought I’d mention in case you wanted a zoo day, you could get two free passes to help your expenses.

I saw this mentioned when I was at my local library. I think it goes through 8/31/11, but I can’t be sure.
