If you’ve ever shopped on Amazon before, you’ve probably seen that they offer something called Amazon Prime where if you have a membership you can get Free 2-Day Shipping on qualifying items sold and shipped by Amazon.
Over the next few weeks, you are going to see some hot deals on items that are probably on your list. If the items are $35 or over, chances are you might be able to get Free Super Saver Shipping on them, if they qualify. But if there are items that fall under that threshold, you may want to consider one of these options for grabbing Amazon Prime for Free:
~They offer a Free 30 Day Trial Off Amazon Prime if you’ve never tried it before. 30 days is plenty of time to grab the hot deals! You just need to make sure that you cancel the membership after the 30 days before the trial ends if you don’t want to continue the membership or you’ll be charged the $79 fee.
~They offer a program called Amazon Mom. This will get you free shipping on several items and discounts on baby items for a 3-month trial period. It’s called Amazon “Mom” but it’s definitely for Dads, Grandparents, Caretakers, etc. – anyone caring for a baby or young child.
~They offer a program called Amazon Student. I love that they help students save money with this one. If it’s the same as in the past, you’ll need an .edu email address to sign-up. You’ll get 6 months free and if you choose to have a membership after that, it’s 50% Off.
If you choose to grab one of these options, just be sure you read ALL the details beforehand so you aren’t surprised with any charges later.
Hoping one of these helps you grab some of those hot deals and great prices that will help you stay within your holiday budgets for the gifts on your list!
Several of my readers have asked me before if I think Amazon Prime is worth the $79 yearly fee. My answer is always this: it all depends on how much you shop online and if you can afford it with your current budget. I personally do have a membership with them. It averages out to about $6.50 a month but I like to order a lot of Natural/Organic products that I can’t find around our area. I find that it helps me save gas money driving around–which helps cover my membership costs. I also have family/friends that live out-of-state and it’s nice to ship presents without paying postage. Not to mention, they have several hot deals throughout the year which more than covers my membership fees! You just need to weigh the cost with how much benefit you’ll get out of it to determine if it’s worth it for you personally.
Don’t forget: You can sign-up for Swagbucks and do your online searches through them so you can earn Swagbucks that you can turn in for Amazon Gift Cards. It only takes 450 to earn a $5 gift card and you’ll get 30 Swagbucks if you are a new member signing-up.
