Here are the instructions as per Amazon’s offer on how you’d redeem the free movie ticket:
Buy any eligible title in the list (above) and receive a reward code which you can redeem for a certificate valid for one admission (up to $10 value) to see the movie Frozen beginning November 27, 2013 at participating theaters.
Step 1: Complete your purchase of any eligible title in the list (above) between November 11, 2013 and December 21, 2013 only. Offer only applies to Amazon.com offers and not from other sellers.
Step 2: Once shipment of the disc occurs you will receive an email within 48 hours containing your reward code, click the link contained in the email and redeem your reward code.
Step 3: Follow the instructions on that site to enter your reward code and other required information and print your certificate. Reward code expires on January 5, 2014 or until “Frozen” is no longer in theaters (whichever comes first).
Don’t forget you can purchase these and use the Magic Code inside the movie to redeem a free movie ticket through Disney Movie Rewards, too! Just be sure the title you purchase is also on the DMR list! Important Note: Not all titles on Amazon’s list are on DMR’s list. If I matched them up correctly, the ones listed with an ** symbol should qualify on DMR but you may want to double-check before purchasing.
Since Amazon will email you their reward code, it doesn’t sound like you need to open your purchase for the freebie offer. So you might be able to pick up a DVD/BluRay for a gift and give yourself a gift of a free movie outing!!
