My heart continues to go out to the families and loved ones affected by the tragedy at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
I have a son in kindergarten so I spent a great part of yesterday saying, “What If” it had been my child and crying for those parents that did not have to say that as they are experiencing it first-hand. Needless to say, there was a lot of hugging going on here at our house.
I plan on giving my kids 100% of my focus this weekend and I will not be blogging until Monday.
Please take time to hug your families tight and let them know how much you love them.

What a wonderful, thoughtful thing to say. I to also have a boy in kindergarten and thats all i could think of also yesterday. My heart just aches for those families. I prayed all day for God to comfort them. It is so hard to send your kid back to school after something like this happens, you have to pray and trust in the Lord he will watch over them.
very respectable- thanks for all you do!
Thank you, Patty!
Yes, definitely a tough day sending the kids back. But like you said, you just have trust in the school and have faith that they’ll all be OK.
Blessings to you and your family,
Jaycie
Hi Lisa,
Thank you! It was the only thing I could think of to honor the parents of the victims–to appreciate each minute I have with mine.
Blessings to you and your family!
