Target: Deal on Orville Redenbacher Popcorn and Redbox Rentals

December 11, 2012

There’s a $2/2 6 pk. of Orville Redenbacher Popcorn Target Store Coupon on their site right now.

Check through your 12/2/12 Smart Source insert as you might find a $.75/2 Orville Redenbacher Gourmet Popcorn Manufacturer’s Coupon that you can stack with it.

As I’ve mentioned before, several of their boxes are marked with “Get 2 Free Redbox Codes Inside!” Inside the box, you’ll find two codes that you can use for free 1-day movie rentals. I picked up a box yesterday and the expiration dates on mine were 9/30/13 so there’s plenty of time to use them. (Note: Boxes may vary.)

I just wanted to mention this in case you were making food or movie/popcorn gift basket sets as gifts. Not only will you be giving popcorn but 2 free movie rentals to them, too! Or since the popcorn packs tend to be individually wrapped in plastic, you could put them in the basket separately and keep the codes for your own family movie nights.

Here’s what the deal may look like:

Orville Redenbacher Gourmet Popcorn 6-packs $3.69 – Buy 2
*Use $2/2 Orville Redenbacher Popcorn Target Store Coupon
*Stack with $.75/2 Orville Redenbacher Gourmet Popcorn Manufacturer Coupon
FINAL PRICE = $4.63 for Two or $2.32 each wyb 2. And if you buy the specially marked boxes, you’ll earn 4 Free 1-day Redbox Rentals. ($4.80 value)

I hope you can find these at your stores, too!

You know, my kids and I used to depend on these kiosks, but have started moving away from them. One of my DISH coworkers told me about a better way to save on game and movie rentals. It’s called Blockbuster @Home, by DISH. With it, we get movie channels, streaming, and also home delivery on both movies and games. Best of all is the cost. At ten bucks a month it’s about a third of what I had been paying for Netflix, Gamefly, and the kiosks! I suppose if I have a free coupon like this I might go back to Redbox, but otherwise it just isn’t worth it.
