Vitacost: My Recommendations

April 11, 2012

I’ve mentioned before that Vitacost is offering a $10 Credit to new sign-ups. They have so many items on their site, that it can almost be overwhelming searching for things to consider buying. I thought I’d share my favorites so far:

~Organicville BBQ Sauce – I’m addicted.
~Eden’s Pizza/Pasta Sauce – Great little multi-tasking food.
~Eden’s Pumpkin Seeds – My kids love these for a snack.
~Arrowhead Mills Organic Popcorn- Add to a microwave popper for a quick snack.
~Earth’s Best Kidz Organic Applesauce Cups – Perfect for picnics.
~Alessi Grissini Torinesi Thin Breadsticks – These are only $1.70 and I sometimes snack on them while cooking or have them with a salad.
~Bob’s Red Mill 10 Grain Bread Mix – Great for making homemade bread.
~Green & Black’s Organic Milk Chocolate – One of my faves. Wishing they sold the Peanut & Sea Salt one.
~Guiltless Gourmet Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips – Discovered these as a recommendation from Jillian Michaels in her Ripped in 30 meal plan.
~Wild Planet Tuna – Most of their tuna, sardines and salmon have a five-star rating.

I’d love to hear of any items that you’ve found through Vitacost that you like to order? I’ve been very pleased with the timely matter that my orders have shown up and how well the breakables have been wrapped. It’s hard to find a good selection of Natural/Organic products where we live so I’ll continue to order from them going forward. I’ve found their prices to be less than our area.

Hoping you can find something with that $10 credit that might help you save on your grocery budget. They also have several Gluten-Free items, as well. It’s $4.99 shipping unless you order $50 or more, then it’s free. Sometimes they offer free shipping when you purchase a select item, too.
