UPDATE: This giveaway has ended. Winner will be announced later this week.
It always seems like the hardest thing to get accomplished by the end of the day is finding time to squeeze in some fitness. I think part of my problem is that there are so many other obligations and responsibilities and exercising seems like something just for me and gets “put on the back burner.” I have to keep reminding myself that keeping myself healthy and fit is also something for my family in that it’s just one thing I can do to try to keep myself around longer for them.
Out of all the fitness things that I’ve tried, I still find myself going back to my Zumba Fitness for the Wii. I find that it’s fun and I get a pretty good workout. Eventually, I’m hoping to become brave enough to sign-up for a class at a health club but I’m still working on not tripping over my own feet just yet. LOL.
I’ve also added another thing to my “bucket list” and that’s something called Skyrise Chicago. The idea of climbing the stairs at Willis Tower and having that sense of accomplishment seems exciting. I discovered this event when I was reading Urban Girl Fitness. I’ll definitely have to train for this so I’m thinking….maybe next year!
I’m offering this giveaway myself in hopes that it might not only encourage some of my readers to get a little fitness into their lives again–but also become some additional motivation for me to set aside that time for myself throughout the week.
In the past, I have given away the version for the Wii. But I know several of you either have a different game system or none at all. So this time–I’m giving away the Zumba Fitness Total Body Transformation System DVD Set. It comes with 4 DVDs with 6 workouts and the maraca-like toning sticks. I haven’t tried this set. Yet. But the review status is nearly five stars on Amazon after over 800 reviews were left. So I’m hoping it’s a good one.
And just for fun, I’m adding one additional way to enter this giveaway. All you have to do for that one is to get in any kind of exercise for at least 10 minutes this week. Even something as simple as walking or a game of chase with the kids. Anything that gets you safely moving and on the road to being healthier!

I get my exercise every Saturday morning bright and early at 8:00 AM. This is the only time I make myself go to the gym. I have a four year old daughter and a two year old son that I clean up after and play with all day, therefore burning an infinite amount of calories!
I take my children to the beach and swim and chase them for exercise. We have dance parties for cardio, and I carry them for weight training.
I receive your emails.

Got in 10 minutes of exercise today with a nice quick walk to feed the fish in the nearby bay. Pushing a stroller, keeping up with my oldest on her bike…it was cardio at it’s finest.
I get my work out with Dance Central and I play with my 5 and 1 year old!

I am 54 and LOVE Zumba! I took classes at the YMCA until my Mother got very sick. I exercise while I get ready for work in the morning. Brush my teeth and do leg lifts, squats while deciding what to where…..etc, I would love to have the DVDs to excercise at home.
I like to get exercise by doing yard work! Just became a home owner and it seems like the work is never finished!

My exercise I did this week was cleaning up my yard. Fall is here and I have been cleaning up the leaves in my yard.. It seems like as soon as I get them all done, the winds kicks up and puts a whole new layer on my yard. My girls had fun playing in the piles of leaves! Great memories.
I teach a toddler class called Little Green Frogs. It is a physical activity class for 2-4 year olds. I would LOVE Zumba to help me loose the 15 lbs I gained over the past year. Thanks for a fun giveaway.
My youngest daughter is still homeschooling, she’s nearly seven, and we do calisthenics with the rebounder, sit-ups, running through the house (that’s fun) and deep knee bends. She does like to throw in back bends on occasion or Hula Hooping, but that’s not my thing!
I have already liked you on Facebook and subscribed to your e-mails.
I like to sneak in work out during nap time for my 2 children. Although when they don’t nap don’t workout, so it leaves us for a good long walk that day.
My favorite way to exercise is walking–I can walk for miles and enjoy nature.
I got in 20 minutes of kickboxing today and 40 minutes of walking! Hope to win this contest–I have done some Zumba from Youtube and would love to win this set!
My favorite way to exercise is walking with friends.
I parked at the far end of the parking lot and walked to the store for each stop I made today!

I’ve been doing squats and push-ups every other day. My two little boys enjoy doing it with me…and it is so cute watching them exercise!
I have a 7 month old and cant make it to a gym, so my workouts consist of walks with her in the stroller, or work out dvds during nap times.
I love to work out in the gym with my girlfriend! Without her- getting there some days would be impossible!
I try to walk everyday to pick up my daughter from school and make it to the gym on my days off work.

My favorite form of exercise is swimming, but since I don’t get to the gym as often as I like, I usually end up running around with my 3 year old.
I like to exercise to things that I will enjoy like dancing. I have tried salsa and that was fun! I want to try zumba because i have heard that it shows results!
My favorite way to exercise is gardening and yardwork. I get a huge sense of accomplishment and a beautiful yard too!
