I actually “tried” planting a raised bed garden for the first time this summer.my husband built it for me.I planted tomatoes,cucumbers,and jalapeno peppers.Of course it turned out to be a record setting heat and drought summer,and my garden bombed! I got one cucumber,and no tomatoes at all.The peppers did ok.I was sooo disappointed! This will not deter me!! I will try again next summer,I might even plant some strawberries!
