Giveaway: Organicville Foods Products – 3 Winners

June 14, 2011

UPDATE: This giveaway has ended. Winners will be chosen soon!

If you’ve been following the site for any time now, you know how much I love working new Organic Products into my family’s weekly menu plan. So I was beyond words excited when I was given the opportunity to choose some Organicville Foods Products to taste test—yet another thing I love to do….try new products!

So they were sweet enough to let me choose what I wanted to try and I picked their BBQ Sauce and Salsas, as these are big at our house.

The day they arrived, we happened to be grilling up some steaks I had bought from a local farmer and we ended up grilling one with the Original Organicville BBQ Sauce and one without just to dip into it, like a steak sauce. Both turned out fabulous and this is by far my favorite BBQ Sauce now as it has a combination of both sweet and smoky flavors.

The salsas were both unique as one had pineapple and the other was a mild salsa. We always have a small dilemma with salsas as I like mild and my hubby likes to go a little spicier with medium or hot. But he mentioned how the mild salsa had a nice enough kick to it that we could probably just buy the one jar now for both of us, as it was also still mild enough for me.

This was truly a fun experience to be able to test out some more Organic products. But Organicville also wanted to share this experience with my readers as they are letting the 3 winners of this giveaway pick out any two Organicville products (excluding ice cream) to have shipped to them. I love that the winners get to pick their own prizes! They have several that are dairy and gluten-free, as I know several of you have those needs in your diet.

If you’d like more information on their products you can visit the Organicville Foods site or follow them on the Organicville Facebook and Organicville Twitter Pages.

I’d surely like to try the Barbecue Sauce, Pasta Sauce and Teriyaki (or Sweet and Sour Sauces). I’m extra impressed that if they “pass my test,” I could easily obtain them at my local Nob Hill store!

I would love to try their different varieties of ice cream. I have tried a lot of different brands, but thus far, nothing lives up to the local brand, Alden’s. I’m always looking for a good challenger!

I love a good salad so I would have to say that I would love to try their Olive Oil & Balsamic Organic Vinigrette and my husband is a huge ice cream fiend, so for him I’d have to try the Dark Chocolate Low Fat Organic ice cream. After watching a couple of pertinent documentaries, we’ve decided to not only eat healthier but start incorporating organic food into our diet whatever the cost! The cost of the food will weigh out in medical bills that we won’t have to pay later in life!!
