I shared this on the Coupon Geek Facebook Page yesterday but since some of my readers were great at sharing a few more with me, I thought I’d do a quick posting on it. (Thank you to Heather and Jennifer!)
If you are looking for something to do with the kids on a rainy day or just when you need a little wildlife education as I know some of you homeschool, you can check out these Wildlife Webcams:
RaptorResource.org – This one has a Decorah Eagle’s Nest and they are projecting the eggs to start hatching today, 4/1/11. My kids have been having so much fun watching her. Just a few minutes ago they were both screaming, “EGGS!!” as she moved from her nest a little and they saw the eggs she was sitting on. We just pop it on every so often and watch her for a few minutes to see what she’s up to.
WildEarthTV – Several webcams to choose from there.
Phoebe Allens- This one is of a hummingbird’s nest. They look like they are getting close to learning to fly and leave the nest.
Just thought I’d share in case you were looking for a free little activity to do. Just don’t get too hooked!

It isn’t wildlife, but there are almost webcams at local zoos to check out the animals there. I have liked watching the Red Panda cubs (“Firefox” Cubs) from the Firefox website. They are at the Knoxville Zoo.
