24 Hour Giveaway: Christmas in Canaan DVD – 3 Winners

December 20, 2010

I finally got a chance to watch Christmas in Canaan last night and I thought it was a very heart-warming film–and I wish I had watched it earlier in the holiday season.

It starts off with a bunch of school kids on a bus in Canaan, Texas during the 1960s when there’s a lot of racial tension still going on. Two young boys from different backgrounds get into a scuffle and their Dad and Grandma force them to stay in each other’s houses for a week.

The movie then proceeds to tell the story of their lives for the next decade or so–and stars Billy Ray Cyrus. I honestly got choked up during the “Some Christmas” scene and it really touched me on how some families do have to make do with that type of Christmas—and yet that’s how it should truly be, about the spirit of family and love.

Vivendi Entertainment was very kind to offer me one copy of Christmas in Canaan to offer to THREE of my lucky readers.

If you love heartwarming movies, I hope you’ll enter, as I think you’ll like this one. It’s a good one to add to the holiday rental list.

Here’s How To Enter:

Good luck to all of you who enter!

A special thank you to Vivendi Entertainment for providing the copies for myself and my readers. These gifts did not affect my posting as I always provide honest reviews and notify my sponsors of this before accepting their offers.
