As I mentioned a few weeks ago, my book pick for August was More-With-Less Cookbook. Not only is this a good cookbook, it’s also very informative about how/why to make more things homemade. It has inspired me to take a second look at what I’m buying at the store and asking myself if I can’t make those things at home. In the long-run, I’m finding that I am saving even more money by making things myself. Not only that, but it’s also made me take a look at how much we are eating overall and reducing our meals to make healthier portions.
Each month, not only do I choose a book to read but I also giveaway a book to two lucky readers.

My favorite cookbook is called Campbell’s Creative Cooking With Soup, I love this book because it gives you different choices for each recipe so that you can use up what you have on hand. There is even a recipe for Spicy Vegetable Cake, made w/ tomato soup. My family loves it and it is very good for them! (of course I don’t tell them that!)
