What’s New?: Shred-It With Weights Pre-Order

As most of you all know, I’m working on Jillian Michaels – 30 Day Shred this month. My friend Keri Lyn, my younger sister and even a few of you have volunteered to join me in this adventure. (Thank you so much!)

I was just looking at Jillian Michael’s site and noticed that Jillian Michaels: Shred-It With Weights releases on 9/7/10. Amazon has it for pre-order for $9.99. It also comes with a $4 video-on-demand credit for Amazon. (One credit per Customer.)

I just wanted to share in case any of you were looking for a new workout. I haven’t tried it yet so I’m hoping it’s a good one for you. And I just have to say I’m so proud of any of you that are working on getting a little extra fitness into your daily/weekly routines. Staying healthy is such a great investment!

    I started the Shred yesterday, I now have jelly arms (two 5 lbs weights was harsh) and sore calves haha but it’s all good. I may have to try the weight one after I get through this.

    Oh, I didn’t know you were working on this program. I’ve been using Jillians’ Whey Protein powder in my smoothies lately and am loving it. I’ve never been a big breakfast eater. It’s usually noon before I’ve realized I haven’t eaten and so I like having smoothies in the mornings for my breakfast now.

    I just saw on her website that she had protein powders. It sounds like you like them then, Jenni? Which one are you trying? I could go for morning smoothies! :)

    i LOOKED ON ON DEMAND AND THEY DO HAVE THE SHRED IT LEVEL ONE ON THERE SO i DID IT YESTERDAY but it did not say what weight size to use…On the actual DVD does it say what weight size to use.

    I don’t remember them saying on the DVD. I’ll double-check when I do the workout today. I think most people use weights anywhere from 1-5 lbs. You don’t want to overdo it. I am using 3 lb weights and I’m definitely feeling it! :)
