My sister just lent me a copy of this. I may have to check it out so I can see the movie in the theater. I always need to read the books before I see the movie, even though they are never the same.

This one is actually very similar to the book! They apparently wrote the screenplay and cast Miley Cyrus first and then Nicholas Sparks wrote the book. I guess they realized they would make more money if it was a Nicholas Sparks book-to-movie. The book is still EXCELLENT and the movie is also good!
I just finished the book. I am the same as you & love to read it first. . .I’ll probably just wait & rent it after it comes to dvd though.
