Menards Deals for the Week of 3/28 – 4/3/10

March 29, 2010

Since the weather is starting to warm up here, I’ll be getting into my gardening in another month or so. I wanted to try to do these Menards rebates to see how many deals I could get. I figured I could use the merchandise credits for my upcoming gardening needs. If it’s your first time picking up the rebates,  I highly recommend that you read Pocket Your Dollars posting on how they work.

Now, I’m not sure if they have them every week, but ours had the Chicago Tribune Sunday edition for only $1. You can be sure that I’ll be stopping to see if there’s any there on the weeks that I need extra coupon inserts!

Here are the items that I saw for this week:

Brach’s Jelly Bird Eggs $.29 – after $.50 Mail-in-rebate – Limit 5

Packaged Rose Bush $1.99 – after $1.50 Mail-in-rebate – Limit 6

Crystal Light 6-pack $.49 – after $1.50 Mail-in-rebate – Limit 6

Energy Drink 4-pack $1.99 – after $1.50 Mail-in-rebate – Limit 4

Deck Wash – Free after $3 Mail-in-rebate

Spray Texture Repair Kits – Free after $5 Mail-in-rebate – Limit 2

All-Purpose Paint Brushes – Free after $4 Mail-in-rebate – Limit 2

Other items on a decent deal: (Sorry but I’m not familiar enough with hardware items to know what’s a hot price on them!)

Work Gloves for $.33
10×20 Plastic Greenhouse Dome or Tray $.89
Greenhouse 36 Cell Seed Starter Kit $1.89
20lb Bag of Bird Food Country Mix $4.48
Tootsie Roll Bank filled with Midgees $.79

Also, check out this sign I saw hanging up in our Menards store:

Menards already discounts seeds from the listed price plus they are offering an additional 25% off. This is great for those of you that also wanted to plant seeds with the kids. Even the little greenhouse kits are on sale this week.

Also, look by the registers as ours had some Crayola Total Tools for $1 with a $1 mail-in-rebate. The offer was through May 31, 2010.

You can check the Menards Store Locator to see if there’s a location near you.
