Craft Store Printables and Some Deal Ideas

March 5, 2010

Coupon Gal has several Craft Store Printable Coupons right now—Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, JoAnn’s. They are all valid through March 6th.

I printed off the one for Michael’s before I left on our shopping trip this afternoon. I saw a plethora of cute items there and I only wished I could have used several of the 50% Off Any One Regular Priced Item Coupons. :)

I took some pictures with my iPhone that I wanted to share just in case you think you have to be “crafty” to shop there. (Honestly, I can sew myself into a button and superglue myself to anything–I’m not one bit crafty and yet I love Michael’s store!!)

As soon as I saw these, I knew it was what I was going to use my coupon on. They are $5.99 and I plan on filling mine with a Jar Recipe or maybe some homemade cookies and sending it to my Mom for her Easter gift.

We made one of these birdhouses for my FIL last year for Christmas and he loved it. They are around $3.99 on sale right now for the unpainted wooden ones. So you can’t use the coupon on them. But you can use the coupon on paint and accessories for them. (I lined up some painted ones for you to see what they did with some of the wooden ones. Aren’t they cute? Note: those are a lot more than $3.99 if they even sell them. Some stores keep them as displays.)

They had some cute little wooden puzzles for $1. Our said “as advertised” by it but it’s their everyday price now. If you wanted to paint them, you could use the coupon on that instead.

They had lots of Easter baking needs that weren’t marked down yet. They may go on sale soon (for less than 50% off) So if you need some frosting or sprinkles, grab them soon!

Ours had this cute little bunny cake pan for $9.99. Making it about $5 after coupon.

These were just some of the things that I found. They also had coloring books and activities for kids and such. I hope that you are also able to find some of these cute deals at your store. They often have a 40% or 50% Off coupon in the Sunday Paper or online. So keep an eye out for them. You can make some super cute gifts for budget friendly prices.

(and if you think you get strange looks using coupons—-you get even weirder ones when you are taking pictures of things in the store. :) )
