When we were at our local Ace Hardware Store this week looking for seeds for our garden, I noticed that their sales ad had a Rake for only $1.99 after a $5 rebate. It was for a 22″ Spring Brace Rake or 24″ Poly Rake.
I just wanted to share it will all of you so you could also check your local Ace Hardware to see if they were offering the same promotion. Ours was good through 3/31/10.
If yours is like ours, you can actually file your rebates online if you use your Ace Rewards Card. (which is free to sign-up for.) I was so happy to hear that I didn’t need to mail in my receipt, UPC, etc. I typically don’t take advantage of rebate offers because I’m not the best at mailing everything in.

Thanks so much for the Ace info. I never realized with the Rewards card you could do the rebates online…I think I’m going rake shopping this afternoon! I was also thrilled with your planting seeds info…I have a 5 year old who is dying to go shopping for our seeds…looks like my afternoon is filled today!

Wow…I am excited about the $1.99 rake. I was in desperate need for one. While trying to rake up old dead leaves from around my back patio after the fall, the handle broke completely off so I had to resort to a leaf blower (which isn’t good if you have allergies….eeeeek).
I’m going to get a new rake TONIGHT!! Thanks~
