Blissdom Pics: Harry Connick, Jr Night
I have so much to share with you all about the Blissdom Blogging Conference that I went to a few weeks ago. I’m still barely caught up from my time away. But I did want to start off by sharing a super fun Friday night I had with some of my blogging friends–the Harry Connick, Jr concert night!

This is all of us out of “mommy mode” and dressed up anxiously awaiting Harry to arrive. Shown are Alli (Couponing For 4), Christy (Coupon Gal), Keri Lyn (She Saved) and myself. Yes, that’s what I look like when I get a spare 15 minutes to actually fix my hair and throw on some make-up.
(That never seems to happen these days!)

This is our buddy, Jenn (Super Jenn) and Super Baby. He’s such a doll and I enjoyed getting to make him coo and smile! They teased me all weekend that I’d be bitten by the bug and want a Baby #3 soon. (um…no! I’m still trying to juggle two.) But, we always leave that in the “what happens, happens” thinking.

When Harry first stepped on stage, it was deafening with all the screams. He chatted with us a bit and it was amazing to be sitting there so close listening to him share his stories. And I have to say, all of the women were so well behaved. (Though I know lots of them wanted to jump on stage with him.)

I loovvee this picture! To me, it just shows his love for playing the piano. He played several songs with his band and sang a few tunes, as well. I love “crooners” as their music just seems to touch your heart and give you that happy feeling inside. All in all, it was amazing and a real treat for us to see.
When it was over, we had the opportunity to line-up to meet him. Keri Lyn and I were lucky enough to get to shake his hand and have our picture taken with him. (I’ll share it with you when it’s posted online.)
It was a fun time getting to hang out with my bloggy friends and just unwind for a bit. I came back home a happier Mommy and made some life-long memories in the process.
Thanks to Blissdom for setting this up for us! I’ll have more stories/pictures to share with you soon!

Loved the picture of him smiling at the piano…and I agree with you that it shows his love of playing.
