Did you know that one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer within her lifetime? That’s 12 percent of all women who will be personally impacted by the disease.
For every pink lid mailed in by December 31, 2009, Yoplait will donate $.10 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, up to $1.5 million, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000. Now, you’ll be surprised at home many of those pink lids will fit in one envelope. You can also set up your own collection team–and there’s more info on that HERE.
To me, this is wonderful because I’m a fan of yogurt anyway so I like that I can help contribute to a great cause just by saving and mailing in the lids. I just bought a bunch over the weekend, all with pink lids!
So please, pass the word about this simple way everyone can help raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
As an extra incentive to spread the word, MyBlogSpark has offered me a really cute gift set to one winning reader. The gift set will include:
*Coupon for FREE Yoplait Yo-Plus Yogurt
*Leather Jewelry Case (This is sooo cute!)
*Breast Cancer Awareness Bracelet
