Shopping Warriors

Can you believe the only place I went this last week was Jewel? I was so busy decluttering and getting ready for our company that I didn’t have time to shop elsewhere. In fact, I actually did my Jewel shopping with our friends. We have a large group of friends stay with us for the Chicagoland Speedway Nascar Races and they always make a big weekend of tailgating. (While I enjoy time at home with the kids.) We pooled our groceries together so we could use a larger $$ off coupon. When we got home, groceries got put away before I could get a picture and I honestly was too tired to argue otherwise. But, I did take a picture of all the block cheese I acquired, minus a few we ate! :) My friend Lisa was laughing at all the catalinas that printed after we checked out!! Here’s what I cashed in on this week:

Cheese! – I picked up 15 Kraft Natural Cheese Blocks for $2.50, after catalinas! These have and will continue to make great snacks!

Fruit Snacks – I got 5 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks for $.98 each and I earned a FREE Redbox code. I was bummed to see it was only valid until 7/16, though. We’ll have to use it soon.

Nestle Goodstart Formula – I had a few catalina coupons my friend Debbie sent me, plus earned 3- $5 off next purchase catalinas. (Debbie, you were a lifesaver! I had just run out of check coupons and hated the idea of paying full price! Thank you for sending those!) :)

Hormel Lunchmeat – These are BOGO for $4.79 and there were $.55/1 coupons by them, making them $1.84 each for great lunchmeat. They will make some inexpensive lunches for Rich for work.

Freebies – Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs, DiGiorno Flatbread Pizza and Edy’s Ice Cream – all from coupons I signed up for or through catalinas.

McCormick Grillmates – These are on sale @ Jewel for $.50 and I used $.50 off coupons.

Jennio-O Turkey Burgers – These are on sale for $6.99 a box and I used my $5 off coupon I earned during the Biggest Loser finale to get them for $1.99.

The rest of my money was spent on fresh veggies and fruit for the week.

So, how did your week go? Did you find any great deals? Share with us your stories and/or pics in Mr. Linky or the comments below the posting. I always love to hear from you!
